Ms. Jay is Deputy Regional Director for North America for C40, a network of the world’s megacities committed to addressing climate change. She works with C40 cities in the U.S. and Canada to help them address their biggest climate challenges, from mitigating emissions to climate risks. Previously, she managed the Land Use Planning Network at C40, where she ran a network of urban planners in C40 cities globally to support the development of land use plans and policies to address climate goals for creating more compact, connected and resilient cities. Prior to joining the C40, she served as a Project Manager at Terrapin Bright Green, where she consulted with government agencies, developers and nonprofits to create sustainability policies and designs. Ms. Jay earned her master's degree in urban planning from Columbia University in New York and a bachelor's degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
