Arizona State University and The Water Institute of the Gulf will host the first Ten Across Water Summit in Baton Rouge. Water scientists, city resilience officers, mayors and journalists will discuss living with regular droughts on the western side of Interstate 10 and water inundation along the Gulf Coast.
Panelists will share science-based solutions that have let their cities adapt to extreme weather caused, in part, by global warming. They will provide advice on implementing solutions and talk about the technology to do so.
Organizers and some panelists are available for interviews before the summit begins.
There is no cost for reporters to attend the summit. We would like you to Fill out the form so we can send daily releases and a link to the livestream of the summit.
