St. Johns Riverkeeper

Ms. Rinaman serves as the chief advocate and public voice for the St. Johns Riverkeeper, whose mission is to be an independent voice that defenda, advocates and activates others to protect and restore Florida’s St. Johns River. She works to hold regulators and polluters of the river accountable, identifies and advocates for solutions that will protect and restore the river, educates and raises awareness about important river-related issues. As a former senior staff member for Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton, Rinaman has extensive experience building consensus around issues and helped implement numerous environmental initiatives and policies. She was instrumental in leading the effort to develop and implement irrigation, fertilizer and Florida-friendly landscaping ordinances to better protect the St. Johns and local waterways.
